Karambolage typically refers to a clash or conflict, but also has meanings such as close contact and rapprochement. The instrumental trio from Aarhus, Denmark, brings together bold noise-jazz, riffed dessert doom and proggy post-rock, creating movements between fragile, epic and intrusive moments in a raw cut expression. The band’s latest album is Prås (2023), which critics describe as a cinematic experience that redefines the boundaries of instrumental rock.
