Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based Painted Caves have earned a reputation for their highly original, Arab-American music and mesmerising live performances. Built on a foundation of Western experimentation and Middle-Eastern tradition, the group uses traditional folk and jazz instruments (oud, daf, trumpet, flute) as a base and focal point against a backdrop of hypnotic rhythm (guitar, bass, percussion) and dreamy, uplifting songwriting.  Seamlessly melding shoegaze distortion with delicate microtones and vocal harmonies, their music transports the listener from the sands of the North African desert to the sunny beaches of Baja California and the great Ocean beyond, with infectious grooves and lyrical hooks keeping company on a musical journey that is inspiring, reflective, and celebratory.

Blue Shadow Caravan er et alternative folk orkester med base i Aarhus og Berlin. Kernen udgøres af to dansk-bosniere – Radomir Gluhovic og Bojan Bogojevic – på henholdsvis vokal og akustisk guitar og percussion. Duoen får på deres debutalbum “The Marvellous Real” og ved koncerter hjælp af gæstemusikere på bl.a. bratsch, banjo og klaver til at fremmane et stemningsfyldt univers, der kredser om romantiske fortællinger. Ofte med et mørkt islæt. Melodierne klinger sydøsteuropæisk, nogle gange nærmest orientalsk, mens lyrikken hovedsagligt er engelsksproget.

Bandet har været aktiv på livescenen siden 2011 og har udover Danmark også spillet koncerter i bl.a. Sverige og Bosnien.
