Frequently touring around the world, Slack Bird has released three 7″ records, two tapes, the debut album “Let’s Start Wearing Capes”, and now the latest and the darkest release yet “Aleta Au”. As an active touring band Slack Bird has performed in 14 countries around Europe as well as the Eas Coast of The United States. Slack Bird’s music is a take on Appalachian banjo, Finnish traditional music, and punk songs sung in both Finnish and English bound together by dark drone of the button accordion. In the summer of 2019 Slack Bird is coming back to Mainland Europe for the part II of well-received Aleta Au Tour. “Slack Bird create something here apologetically unique that is very approachable. Music like this becomes a shining light in a sea of imitation. To the Trad Folkies and Crust Punks alike, Slack Bird manage to straddle seemingly distant genres effortlessly and with aplomb.”

Med en indlevende vokal, akkompagneret af guitarspil og store harmonier, præsenterer Christoffer Klitlund ærlig og kompromisløs musik. Sangene tager udgangspunkt i de udfordringer og glæder, man møder i livet. I et finurligt sprog formår han på samme tid at få en til at trække på smilebåndet og forholde sig til budskabet. Leon Danielsen vil i aften spille med på klaver og kor.
