Prince George’s County Maryland born MC, Producer and Youth Advocate,
Substantial, first made his debut in 2000 while working with the late Japanese
producer, Nujabes. Since then his soulful and introspective brand of Hip Hop music
has received critical acclaim from HipHopDX.com & Ebony Magazine, his videos
have appeared on MTV, VH1 and BET, he has performed around the world and
collaborated artists like Kool Herc, Oddisee & CunninLynguists while working with
major brands such as Ford Motor Company, Amazon and UBER all while
remaining somewhat of a best kept secret. Adding a new chapter to his quietly
impressive career, Substantial returns in January with his 4th solo album, The Past
Is Always Present In The Future. The new LP feature production
