Peter Tinning, guitar, effects The music is at times cartoonishly playful – incorporating all kinds of sounds, at others theatrically profound, and at still others movingly intimate, but it always disrupts one’s expectations and sense of music and of the world; making them new, as true art should. Their new record Cinemateria releases October 15th 2019 on vinyl and digitally via the Scandinavian collective Barefoot Records, described by American magazine All About Jazz as ‘one of the most interesting new labels in Danish jazz. Recent performances at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival were well received by audiences and critics, including renowned Danish writer and film director Christian Braad Thomsen who said of the group, They play music, the likes of which I have not heard before. A form of jazz and poetry, but without calling upon a poet from the outside. The poetry springs from their very core. They are pretty outstanding. Cinemateria releases October 15th, 2019.
