Release party for Vektormusik’s new album Uro/Unrest. There will be live music and DJs. Vektormusik was founded in 2004 by Thomas Ahlmark and Kristoffer Jørgensen as an electronica act using acoustic instrumentation as a direct reaction to the laptop scene. On stage Vektormusik has always explored how to express the musical structures with a high degree of improvisation and arranged randomness.
The music is abstract yet simple in its repetitive form expressed with acoustic instrumentation such as piano, guitar and strings mixed with layers of analog and digital instruments. Inspirations are drawn from modern classical composition, early-electronica and kraut-jazz. http://vektormusik.dk
